Lily with Summer
Lily was somewhere between 5 and 6 months old when I
took this shot on June 29th, 2008. That was the day that my daughter
Summer and I adopted her. Lily and I go to the
the rec center park, somtimes twice a day. Lily has given our
family lots of joy and love. We all gather together more because
of Lily. I love meeting people and their dogs and finding out
about what they do. If
you see me at the park, ask me to photograph you and your dog.
I started painting dogs when I was recovering from chronic pain.
I didn't have a dog then but there was something so soothing
and inspiring about looking into a dogs eyes as I met them while
walking around the neighborhood. I look at Lily while she stares
at me and go again to a peacful place inside.
